aces – Academy of Central European Schools

aces is one of the biggest school networks in Central and South-Eastern Europe. The call offers teachers and students the possibility to meet colleagues from other countries, to share experiences, get to know innovative teaching methods and make new friends and contacts.

aces – Academy of Central European Schools 2013

Bulgarian schools are kindly invited to participate in the international competition together with one or two partner school(s) from Central Europe and to submit their joint project proposal with ideas for cooperation!

Topic of the competition 2013: Diversity

aces stands for respect and inclusion and aims at fighting discrimination and at understanding diversity as both normal as well as enriching for our societies. Thus, the overall theme of the aces call 2013 is „I and the others: Discovering diversity around and within me.”

Target Group: All school types with pupils aged 12-17 years can participate.

Submission deadline: April 30, 2013
The best project proposals will be awarded and the winners will be supported in carrying out their project ideas. The working language is English.

Partner countries: Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic and Slovenia.

aces is an initiative of ERSTE Foundation and is organised by Interkulturelles Zentrum (Vienna) in cooperation with VČELÍ DOM (Slovak Republic). The school network was created to promote exchange and intercultural dialogue amongst young people and teachers in Central Europe.
